Blob Opera is a playful vocal experiment: drag animated singers up, down, and sideways to shape pitch and vowels while the others harmonize.
What is Blob Opera?
Blob Opera hides a sophisticated musical model inside four extremely approachable characters. Drag one blob vertically to change pitch and horizontally to change the vowel sound. The other voices arrange themselves around it, creating harmonies without asking you to understand theory first. The blobs react with enough personality that the experience works as comedy, but recordings and seasonal songs show how musically capable the system can be.
Why we picked it
It combines technical ambition, musical intelligence, and character design without letting any of those parts make the interface complicated.
How to get the most from it
Begin by moving one voice slowly, then add short movements from the others. Record a phrase only after you have found a vowel and range you like.
Good to know
Sound is the entire point. No singing voice is recorded from your microphone, and you can explore without creating an account.
